DocumentData Tab

A document's property data columns are defined on the DocumentData tab. For example,

Consider the following:

  • If you specify a template and enter data into any of the other document property fields, the utility creates the document based on the template, and then updates the fields with the values specified in the mapped columns.
  • If the document number and revision already exist in AssetWise and the document is NOT APPROVED or PLANNED in AssetWise, the document is updated to the values specified in the mapped columns.
  • If the document number, middle and revision combination already exists and the document is APPROVED, only the Effective Date is updated.
  • If the document number and middle combination already exist and the revision is different, a new revision document for non-change controlled documents is created.
  • If the document is change controlled, and a change request has been mapped on the Change Request tab, the system confirms that the status of the change request is either Expedited or Approved, and then creates the new revision using the specified change request.
  • First Row: You must specify the start of the data row in the import spreadsheet.
  • End Flag: This column is mapped to a column which includes data throughout the spreadsheet.
  • When no value is given (blank) for this column in the datasheet, the import assumes it reached the end of the spreadsheet for importing. Any rows having data after this row will not be imported in to AssetWise.
